Introduction

Phil Tittensor is a Consultant Nurse for the Epilepsies at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and Honorary Lecturer for the University of Wolverhampton, UK. He is Chair of the Epilepsy Nurses Association (ESNA) and principal investigator for several epilepsy studies. His current work focuses on the use of Artificial Intelligence in epilepsy management. In this lecture Phil Tittensor discusses the role of an epilepsy nurse, its key competencies and possible ways that technological development may shape the tasks.
